A
paste dispenser allows accurate control of the amount
of paste applied to each joint. This greater efficiency
offers considerable cost savings by reducing the amount
of paste necessary.
Paste
Dispensers allow total control of the application of
paste. Each time an application is made it will be to
the correct formula, containing a fixed amount of flux.
This allows for quality control and reduces rejects.
By
pre-placing the same amount of paste on each joint and
heating by the same method for the same length of time
a greater consistency is achieved. An example is a plant
in the UK that produces carbide tipped tools. The reject
rate was 0.45%, but after converting to paste, this
dropped to 0.2%.
